MOON RITUAL
Back in 2004 the moon revealed herself to me as my spirit guide. Of course, our relationship goes far beyond the 20+ years we've been teaming up in this lifetime.

The moon's mission
The moon goddess is an extremely powerful player on the divine feminine team. And while the this team is not pitted against another (she is, in fact, in loooove with the divine masculine), the game is at a crucial tipping point. It is time to restore the divinity of the goddess, my friends. And the moon is here to help us. She has seen just about every shadow there is and she is unphased. Wait, was that a moon pun?
Venus's role
While the moon is the crone and Gaia is the mother, Venus is playing the part of the maiden. It is under the tutelage of Venus that I began my journey of learning astrology. As she told me, this is big energy and if you're not tapping into the cosmic happenings, you're missing out BIG TIME.
Remember, no one can impose themselves upon your reality. You must invite the planetary guides to assist you. Below you will find various tools to help you navigate the stars, transit charts, and the astrology basics.
Astrology 101
Transit charts bring the wheel of astrology home, to this moment in time, personalized for you. When you try this and see the synchronicities, you’ll be back for more.
You will need your:
Date of birth
Time of birth
City of birth
Go to AstroSeek
Enter in your birth info then the transit details:
Date of the moon
Peak time of the moon (converted to your local time)
The city you are currently in
Find the orange crescent moon symbol. This represents the moon, even if it’s a full or new moon. It will be in a particular sign. If it’s a new moon it will be with the sun, in the same sign. If it’s a full moon, it will be opposite the transit chart—“opposing” the sun.
Take note of the house it’s in by following the orange hash mark into the inner circle where another orange hash mark will align for accuracy and point to a number (1-12) on the inner circle of the transit chart. Each of these 12 slices (the houses), signify a different area of life.
The house descriptions give you a general direction to look in. Use your pendulum or your intuition to hone in on what exactly is coming up for you. Then, meet with the moon goddess to dive even deeper.
For example, if the moon is showing up in your 4th house and you use your pendulum to narrow the topic down to “home”—that is still quite broad. Your personal moon might be highlighting maintenance that needs to be done or that you need to hole up and spend some time being a home-body. Your heart holds the answers, but the stars point the way.
Check what planets fall under the sign the moon is currently in on your birth chart (the blue icons on the inner circle). And check what house the ruling planet (who is “in charge” of the moon’s current sign) falls in your birth chart. These are the areas and qualities of you and your life that will be supporting the current energies, or driving them home.
In the case of a full moon, it means this area of your life is being illuminated. It will be the area that needs you to see it for what it is, to accept the gifts it is carrying, and to revamp any stagnant energy that doesn’t align with your fullness and golden perfection.
In the case of a new moon, this is the area of your life asking you to take a deeper look. Notice triggers coming up related to the house qualities the moon is transiting through. Do shadow work to get really honest about the beliefs you’re holding that are holding you back. The moon goddess is here to help you through these tender discoveries.
